Passenger Safety Guidelines
As an Oya Riyders driver, you are responsible for the safety and comfort of every passenger. Please follow these guidelines:
- Verify the passenger: Confirm the rider's name before they enter your vehicle.
- No phone calls while driving: Use hands-free or pull over safely.
- Follow traffic laws: Speed limits, traffic lights, and road signs must always be obeyed.
- No extra passengers: Never pick up additional passengers not booked through the app.
- Seatbelts: Encourage all passengers to wear seatbelts.
- Route adherence: Follow the in-app navigation route unless the passenger requests a change.
Reporting a Dangerous Passenger
If a passenger is threatening or dangerous, safely pull over and contact emergency services (112). Report the incident to support after the trip.
