Booking Your First Ride
Booking a ride with Oya Riyders is quick and easy. Here's a step-by-step guide:
- Open the app and make sure your location is enabled — the map should centre on your current position.
- Tap the search bar at the bottom and type your destination, or drop a pin on the map.
- Review the ride options and estimated fare displayed.
- Confirm your pickup location is accurate (drag the pin to adjust).
- Select your preferred payment method.
- Tap Request Ride.
- Wait for a driver to accept — you'll see the driver's name, photo, vehicle details, and live location on the map.
- When the driver arrives, confirm the vehicle details before getting in.
Tip: Always verify the driver's name and car plate number shown in the app before entering the vehicle.
