My GPS location is wrong or not working

Troubleshoot GPS and location accuracy issues.

GPS Location Issues

Accurate location is critical for a smooth Oya Riyders experience. If your GPS isn't working correctly:

On Android

  1. Go to Settings → Location and ensure it's turned ON.
  2. Set location mode to High Accuracy.
  3. Open the Oya Riyders app and grant location permissions if prompted.
  4. Restart your phone and try again.

On iOS

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
  2. Ensure Location Services is ON.
  3. Find Oya Riyders in the list and set it to While Using the App or Always.
  4. Restart the app.
Tip: GPS works best outdoors with a clear view of the sky. Indoor or underground locations may cause inaccurate readings.
